You know that feeling when you draw something that you thought was original and you found a picture that looks exactly what you had in your mind? I had that moment with this one. while I was drawing Kallen, I went online to find some references for her Gurren piolet suit, but I found a picture that had the exact pose... the only difference: mine has Kallen's head tilted slightly upward while the one I found was tilted downward. So much for originality. I think the picture came from those Fanbook scans.

I wanted to finish this before leaving for vacation, but I didn't so the entire project was delayed by 5 days. During the time of vacation, I really wanted to return to do it. Although I did do some during vacation, since I brought my Flash drive and my sister's laptop, but Photoshopping with a touchpad was a nightmare. So I still have to finish it.

And I finally finished it and I think it looks pretty good. I've been trying different linework methods, this one was a bit time consuming but it was worth it.

Initially I didn't have Lelouch in the background but I was thinking of a background to do so I decide to put him in the picture. I actually used a tablet to do the sketch of him then vectored over it to smooth the lines.

Kallen is one of my favorite characters in Code Geass. She's just more awesome in R2. I think she has a lot of fanservice in R2... Where's C.C.? she hasn't really done anything in this season at all! The previous episode she was driving a truck! Why is she driving a truck!? Anyways, I just had the urge to listen to the Opening song again (O2 by Orange Range)

So I tried some soft shading about 50/50 soft and hard. Tell me what you think
